I continue my journey exploring several games and highlighting features that would be interesting if they made it into Defiance. This time inspired by a certain clicky clicky game I investigate the concept of Seasonal Arkhunters or Pursuits.

Defiance's version of endgame content is PvP progression and gun progression, neither of these have the interface elements to properly make these satisfying. I think we lack another type of progression, short of actually progressing through main missions we don't have any meaningful tracked progress in a campaign through a zone or enemy group.

It's no secret that I'm not a fan of the Defiance UI. Something that has always bothered me with players is that you have to remain targeting a player to look at their name, when they move this can get tricky.

The Quick Menu is bloated and has lots of items, I'm not a designer so I won't suggest any cleanup, but I will add a new thing to the pile.

Continuing my look at features that could in theory be added to the game. In this article I present the problem of end of events where people stand around looking off into the distance as they are in full screen menus looking at their loot or maps.

It's been a while since I've cranked one of these out, but I want to look at some features that could be integrated into the game. This time I want to feature Rift's Instant Adventure feature in a Defiance light, a way to get into guaranteed action.
